About Us
Hands For Hunger is a registered non-profit organization working to eradicate hunger and reduce food waste throughout The Bahamas. Founded in 2008 by Bahamian students, the organization partners with food suppliers to rescue surplus food and redistribute it to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Through programs such as community pantries, mobile farmers markets, school initiatives, and emergency food assistance, Hands For Hunger supports vulnerable populations while promoting sustainability and responsible food management.
